While Nexion's work has stood out to me for a long time, I particularly wanted to leave a critique for this particular piece.

While many of this artist's photos are exteriors, and brilliant ones, this is an interior shot, no less brilliant. The symmetry is outstanding, as is the way the gently curving staircase leads the eye up to the focal point of the window, with its geometry of straight lines.

The lighting is also well done; either the artist was very fortuitous with the natural light or shows great skill in producing proper light or adjusting in post-production.

Finally, the tone of the black and white, which appears to have a slight green or blue tint, contributes to the mood, which when one sees the subject is an abandoned mansion, is perfect.
